-____- <<<< That's my face for when I found out that Genki was updated!
I'm just relieved i didn't buy volume 2 D: I see the difference in the updates xD
So I've decided to put my studying on hiatus
The Japanese study that is, now I will work on my Chinese and Korean studies :P With probably a slight touch of indonesian XD
Yes yes, I'm still studying spanish o:
I have to do a major review though ~_~
That's what i'll be doing tonight making the time fly baby :]
wtf! Something just bit me on the back of my neck, so not sexy and it hurts a lot D;
That's all , I hope that so many of you japanese learners did not have to go through this and you were wise to just rent the book lol, well now you can buy it so pay up XD haha.
The flashcards/picture cards are not necessary and if ur a self taught learner you do not need to buy the workbook too. However if you're an OA (overachiever) like moi, GET IT. It's a fun book ^_^
GENKI I includes a Textbook and Workbook
GENKI II has been released but so far only jbox has it up on the net the other online sellers are still catching up
and then there's the Answer Key which includes the answers for Both the textbook and workbook of Volumes 1 & 2.
Textbook Most Common Price $58.90
Workboook Most Common Price $26.80
Answer Key Most Common Price $12.60
p.s. the cds are new included with the books, awesome right? so we save money now!
Douche Move: http://genki.japantimes.co.jp/
lol just add /index_en to the end of the url XD

sigh Just one of those
Today seemed really cruddy :/
Started with two nightmares, one of a person I had no interest in and had no interest in me but i messed with them anyway. The were all over me for once, freaked me out cuz in reality that's all i never WANTED or needed....
the next was an ex what the horror -shivers in fear-
guess my fears are different, i prefer the right guy at the right time (almost said tight time)
People have been really iffy lately, all making me want to raise my eyebrow like this o_Ô (international keyboard ftw)
THANK GOODNESS someone dropped something waking me up out of those awful nightmares, i ended up in the bathroom sick though...
i don't like when the past crosses my mind
today i'm finally going to workout
Today really had that crappy vibe , it was agreed upon with my friend, yep crap day o_o
On another note where the heck is Rae?
Where on earth is Rachel Cohnagan rachel cohanagan >.> missed spelled your names lol
(on purpose!)

Another Awesome Bilingual Expierence Spanish/Español - In the Library
Today after my mum's dentist appointment I went to the library <3
Woaha~ it was such a wonderful time Found two books to Purchase , both relating to latino culture ^_^
Latinos in English y La gallinita roja
Then I started with the Index, couldn't find the english one so I read the Spanish one Awesome :] , La Biblia, Film, Design, Art, Liberal and all <33 I hit the 200 before the 300, 400 and 700s
Grabbed One Religious book, a bunch of arichectural books and a taichi book
The Book of Angels
The Garden Design Book
Small House / Big Style
Outdoor Rooms
What is Japanese Architecture?
Andrea Palladio
Total Tai Chi
After that I went to the computer starting a final search in hope to find something Spanish to fuel my linguistic abilities. So I end up in the Juvenile section, where there's tons of books for bilingualism, well since the care has so many Latino/Hispanic.
I never made it to the Audio Visual Section ): Which I needed to go to lol
I got some help from the librarian putting books down there She helped me find the Spanish books Yet I was still lost My book was in a completely different section lol
The Book I found thinking it was cool was
Perfect for me because it's not straight Spanish (tomorrow I'll make a post on a book similar to it that I purchased a month ago)
I feel Bilingualism is the way to go when it comes to language learning.
This book has to be 2nd~3rd grade level
Now the book I came down there for was
I didn't think it would be this small but it was lol
I have to say it's a kindergarten level.
After coming back from the library I was complimented on my academics
Since I keep my head in my books instead of being like these other 18-19 year old skanks most common in my area.
However my best friends have always been latino/hispanic or asian lol
Everytime I mention my major or my interests in language, it has lead me into a great deep conversation about doing right..
Gracias Dios, You are showing me the right path :)

She complimented me on my learning abilities Then gave me some encouragement by giving me this sweet Mead College Ruled Notebook Which she told me to write my Spanish words in, I was thinking about getting one too. I've decided to write line by line translating what I read by myself. If I didn't know about the personal a I would be lost lol.
The Book I found thinking it was cool was
Estrellita En La Ciudad Grande ~ Estrellita in the Big City
Perfect for me because it's not straight Spanish (tomorrow I'll make a post on a book similar to it that I purchased a month ago)
